area of the facility serves
several functions and is a place that needs
to be workable for you, yet comfortable
for both patient and owner.
Consider the following:
• Excellent room illumination and
appropriate exam lighting devices are
critical.
• Custom-tailor the room to how you
perform examinations. Give extra
consideration to room size, patient size
and traffic flow.
• Neatness and ease of cleaning for this
room are important.
• Instruments, medicines and supplies
must be readily available, yet properly
and securely stored.
• Equipment should promote staff safety
and be comfortable to use.
